今天，爸爸的一位朋友请我们去参加他儿子的七岁生日庆祝会，生日会举办得很隆重，来的客人也很多，有大人，也有小孩。大家都给这位小弟弟带来了各式各样的礼物，有高级书包、高级多功能文具盒，还有一个高级机器人玩具……大家都祝小弟弟生日快乐。这位小弟弟好不得意呀!一家人都为他忙着，为他转着。她的爸爸、妈妈准备了满满一桌子丰盛的'饭菜，有油光光的烧鸡、细丝爆炒鱿鱼、香喷喷的糖醋排骨，红烧牛肉块，肉丸子三鲜汤，还有许多其它的菜，大小盘子足有十几个。
佳肴的香味，飘满了整个屋子，真使人垂涎三尺。大家吃完丰盛的饭菜后，阿姨拿出一个高级奶油大蛋糕，切开给客人每人一份，小弟弟自然拿的是最大的一块。在这个生日会上，我吃得好，玩得也好，我甚至羡慕位小弟弟的生日会办得气派，但过后，我觉得这样为一个七岁的孩子大办生日会并不好，小弟弟这么小，就办这么隆重的生日会，长期下去，这位小弟弟一定会被惯坏的。我觉得在我们过生日的这一天，我们应该给爸爸、妈妈送礼物，而不是让爸爸、妈妈为我们去操劳一切。
我记得妈妈说过，在我们出世的这一天，妈妈是最痛苦的，爸爸是最忙碌的。所以，我们在过生日的这一天应该做几件让爸爸、妈妈高兴的事，或者亲自做几盘爸爸、妈妈喜欢吃的菜，去慰劳父母，让爸爸、妈妈感到欣慰，脸上露出笑容。
